Georgian College Chooses CGTF Certification for PGM Students

The CGTF is immensely proud to announce a partnership with Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario has been solidified.   We will conduct our full certification course for 30 Professional Golf Management students this spring!  Our course materials have been reviewed and we intend to create the best certification experience possible for these up-and-coming professionals!

This partnership grew from the Golf Barrie initiative to help the local golf industry community stakeholders grow our game.  Their committee had a strong desire to see golf being taught in schools to much greater degree than in previous years – they just needed instructors to do it.

The decision-makers at the college were equally anxious to get golf into schools, but realized these students must be able to teach the game before anything else.  This is how the CGTF became involved.  We presented to the college in late 2016 – they are excited to work with us and provide this course to their students.

We are thrilled to be partnering with Georgian College and truly believe this will help further promote our brand within the golf industry.
