CGTF Member Profile: Manny Borges

Manny Borges is a Level III Certified Golf Teaching Professional with the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation (CGTF). Originally from the Hamilton area and later moving to Norfolk County, Manny has been teaching golf and working in the golf industry for over 20 years.

 

In the past he has taught at Chippewa Creek GCC, Sandusk GC, Sunset Golf Academy, The Greens of Renton, and now is The Head Golf Professional at The Links at Dover Coast in Port Dover, ON.

 

As a Golf Professional, Manny prides himself in his ability to teach all levels of golfers from beginners to professionals using not only their strengths but utilizing their weaknesses to achieve proper golf impact. Manny specializes in teaching the short-game and course management. He greatly enjoys watching the transformation of his students in their learning endeavor, but above all he wants his students understand that golf is a game and should be enjoyed with a smile. Manny wants all of his students to walk away from their lesson feeling they have learned something valuable and more importantly had fun in doing so.
